What is a 4D Facelift?

  • 4-step multi-dimensional approach using a combination of lasers and techniques to target different layers of skin
  • 2 laser types: Er:YAGNd:YAG
  • 4 different laser modes: SmoothLiftingFRAC3PIANO, and SupErficial
  • Works from inside out, starting from oral cavity to deep dermis followed by superficial dermis and epidermis layers of the skin
  • The 4D Facelift uses the Fotona laser system, specifically Fotona 4D technology, for advanced skin rejuvenation treatments.

After these four steps, the procedure targets the skin from the inside of the oral cavity to the skin surface, resulting in comprehensive collagen remodelling and improved facial contour, including the jawline. The 4D face laser treatment is a multi-step process designed to stimulate collagen remodelling and enhance the contour of the face and jawline.

How 4D Facelift Works

The 4D Facelift is a non-surgical, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to revitalize the face from the inside out. Using a combination of advanced laser modes, this procedure is suitable for individuals looking to address uneven skin tone and texture, fine lines and wrinkles, and overall skin laxity—without the need for surgery or extended downtime.

The treatment harnesses the power of both Er:YAG and Nd:YAG lasers, working in harmony to target multiple layers of the skin. Each of the four steps utilizes a specific laser mode, allowing for a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation:

Step 1: SmoothLifting: This is the initial phase of the treatment plan, treating the inner lining of the cheeks and perioral area to the skin surface to stimulate collagen contraction and production of new collagen, which helps to improve skin laxity and elasticity, especially around delicate areas like the eyes and nasolabial folds.

Step 2:Frac3: FRAC3 mode delivers a 3D fractional effect, precisely targeting skin imperfections such as lines and wrinkles while preserving the surrounding tissue. This approach not only enhances recovery but also addresses issues like depressed scarring and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, leading to a more even skin tone and texture over a series of treatments.

Step 3:Piano: Utilizing an ultra-long pulse duration, PIANO mode penetrates deeply into the skin, reaching the fat and ligamental layers of the face. This step employs bulk heating to promote deep collagen remodeling and tightening across all skin layers, effectively reducing facial laxity and smoothing out wrinkles.

Step 4:SupErficial: The treatment concludes with a gentle light peel, which removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Gently exfoliates the surface of the skin, aiding the healing process and revealing a brighter and smoother complexion. This step enhances skin texture and reveals a brighter, healthier complexion, further improving the overall appearance of the skin.

What is unique about the Fotona 4D approach is the ability to address multiple layers of your skin in a single session, from the inside of the oral cavity to the skin surface, for comprehensive skin rejuvenation treatments.

The 4D Facelift can be combined with other non-invasive treatments, such as radio frequency, to further boost skin tightening and collagen production. The procedure is generally comfortable, with most patients experiencing only a mild warming sensation. There is no required downtime, allowing patients to return to their daily routines immediately after the session.

Results from the 4D Facelift can be seen for up to six months, with continued improvement as collagen remodeling progresses. This innovative approach is a popular choice for those seeking a non-surgical facelift, as it effectively addresses concerns related to skin tone, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity—delivering a refreshed, youthful appearance without invasive measures.
